I recently came across Swayy.co who proclaim their app is a better way to share content across social media.

As a fan of Buffer, I thought I’d give it a trial and see how it worked. And I LOVE it!

Please note I’m in no way affiliated with Swayy or been asked to promote this product. If I find a system or app that makes your life easier, what’s wrong in sharing the love?!

As similar to Buffer, there is a Chrome extension that you can install and a little jade green square appears in your toolbar – you can see the icon 3rd one in from the right:

If you have found a great article to share while browsing the Web, simply click on the green square icon and there are plenty of options: immediately share content, share in 1 hour, share in 2 hours or schedule for a specific time & date: the choice is yours.

What I really like though is the Swayy Dashboard. This is where you connect your social media accounts and tailor your content feed to the topics you really want to see and share with others:

As you can see, I have lots of topics added and the content appears in my Feed Stream underneath the Topics Matched section.

You scroll through articles and share directly from your Dashboard using the blue “Share” button placed at the bottom of each news story – simple! (The jade green icon is for sharing content that’s not in your Dashboard Feed).

The Analytics Dashboard is good too. You can see how many articles you have shared and a detailed overview of stats is available: how many RTs, Favourites, Replies etc. There’s also a pretty Graphs section for those that need it!

It’s $9 for the Pro account (if you need to manage 2 Dashboards). It does start getting very pricey if you need 10+ Dashboards to manage your social media clients. However, the Free version is absolutely adequate for the solo user. I definitely recommend giving Swayy a whirl and see what you think. Especially if you’re a Buffer fan.

Any Cons?

The only downside to Swayy is that you cannot connect your Google+ account: only Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

I’m really hoping that this functionality will appear soon.

When it does, this will be a 5 star app.

Do you use Swayy? What’s your verdict? Have you found something better? Let me know!
